We are Sally and Darren and we are passionate about upcycling and recycling.
While recovering from surgery in 2025, Sally decided to upcycle a pair of Darren’s old jeans into a bag; no pattern, just YouTube for inspiration and years of sewing experience.
Here’s the first bag…
One bag turned into two, then more as gifts for friends and family.
Then Mayhem Makers was born, and the bag designs evolved.
We don’t sell in stores, but we do attend markets (follow us on Facebook and Instagram for up coming markets).
Each bag is made totally from upcycled materials, that are either donated to us, or we’ve thrifted.
Each bag is unique, no two are the same and so you won’t find them for sale here on this website.
Instead, if you’re keen on a bag, contact us here and we can show you what we currently have in stock (top tip: Have look through the Bag Gallery to see what type of design you like before getting in touch).
